In July 2018, TESS was contracted by the City of Cape Town to provide monitoring services on the Dial-A-Ride and MyCiti public transport services as well as on the public transport interchanges (PTI). The monitoring of these transport services is comprised of the following:

• Monitoring of driver behaviour

• Observing on route vehicle behaviour

• Staff monitoring including cleaning and security services

• Inspection surveys and audits

• Call centre and complaints

• Data management

• Bookings and scheduling

• Repairs and maintenance

• General Services and meter numbers (electric and water)
