Since April 2020, TESS has provided implementation assistance and monitoring services on the Red Dot Special transport project. The Red Dot project facilitates transportation services for medical personnel working at hospitals and medical facilities in the City of Cape Town to ensure they are able to return home after their shifts as quickly and as easily as possible, for much deserved rest. The TESS staff help facilitate efficient boarding of the medical personnel onto vehicles 7-days a week. TESS provides the following services on the project:

• Boarding and alighting assistance of medical staff at 21 hospitals and medical facilities in the Cape Town Metropolitan area

• Monitoring services at staging facilities in Cape Town Metro, Vredenburg, Clanwilliam, Botrivier, Hermanus, George, Beaufort West, Worcester and Paarl

• Management of use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Reporting on daily operations including passenger numbers, trips and vehicle dispatch

• Assessment, analysis and reconciliation of daily operations including travelling distances, validation of vehicle numbers and compilation of payment certificates
